Forest Fairies

The past couple of weeks the weather has been warming up and I have been itching to get outdoors again with my camera. I have to admit that I simply do not enjoy taking photos indoors. I really just do not. It is all about the natural light and my house has zippo of that.

The weather has still been quite cool, but bearable. We've only had a bit of rain and a couple of weeks ago I gathered the girls and said, "let's go for a walk". They were so overjoyed! But even more so when I pulled out some tutus and sparkles. I asked if I could put on some makeup and they were all for that. And they were off on their scooters with my slow self bringing up the rear. It was so windy that afternoon that I have mostly windblown {hair} images, but it was so nice to get outdoors with my camera again.

I am still waiting for it to really warm up around here. Flowers are blooming and the grass is starting to turn green. The ducks, cranes and geese are back in full force. however, there are not any buns or blooms on our trees yet. I am waiting to get the kiddos out and about and shake off these winter blues.
