St Patick's Day Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookies
Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookie Treats are so simple to make with chocolate oreo cookies dipped in colored chocolate topped with festive green sprinkles. They are also perfect for any night to stream your favorite television series or pop in a favorite movie.
I decided I need to make my kiddo’s snack this month to celebrate St Patty's day as well. I grabbed a bag of chocolate Oreo cookies (Did you know they now have Gluten-Free Oreos? My daughter is SO happy!!) and began dipping and sprinkling away. I have to tell you -- these are super delicious!
What You Will Need:
INGREDIENTS
Package of Oreo Cookies OR any other favorite cookie
Colored melting candies
Green & White Jimmies & non-perils
Shamrock sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS
Line baking sheets with wax paper.
Melt the holiday-colored candy melts in the microwave in a dish with a bit of 1 tsp coconut oil. Stir well.
Dip a chocolate cookie into the colored melted candy melts of your choice, place the cookie on the wax paper and then sprinkle with small shamrocks/jimmies/nonpareils.
Take a small spoon and dip in the opposite color of melted candy melts and shake across the cookies to make lines across the pretzel and then sprinkle with small shamrocks/jimmies/nonpareils.
Leave out on the counter or place in the refrigerator to set.
