During the holiday break, we tend to stay home and have family time or “WE TIME”. We have three children who are super busy and I am driving all over the suburbs everyday during the week and all weekend long shuffeling kids from one activity or lesson to another. When the holiday break arrives, we do pretty much nothing but play games and watch movies together. Oh, and eat a lot of food.
We tend to miss a lot of movies in the theater due to our busy schedules, so we normally catchup on all the movies we missed during the holiday break. We especially love to re-watch all our holiday favorites and all the kids get to select a favorite movie for family movie night as well. My daughter is particularly fond of all super hero movies at the moment, so if I sat and watched all the superhero movies from the first to the last, she would be overjoyed! My eyeballs would be cross-eyed, but she would be ecstatic. LOL!
Last week I introduced my daughters to an old classic, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, and they now love it as much as I do. I happen to adore classic old movies, and we are counting the days until we can watch the original Miracle on 34th Street. If you don’t have any of these old classics, they are super easy to purchase from Movies Anywhere.
I simply love to have the ability to watch my favorite movie collections anywhere, anytime. Even if everyone doesn’t want to watch a movie together, we have plenty of televisions in different rooms available. We have one base Movies Anywhere account, the main account, and then we simply added profiles for each of our children.
We are able to include a rating restrictions for content access based on each of our children’s ages. I have the Movies Anywhere app loaded on to my kid’s tablets and they even have it on their phones. So when my son has had enough of the classics, he can watch something he enjoys in his bedroom over the holiday break, like Jingle All the Way.
My daughters both have study hall at school and are literally bored to tears during this period. They are allowed to use their phones with headphones, and they simply log-on to the Movies Anywhere Account and select their profile, the sub-user profile, and they are able to watch the movies that are available to them in their profiles during study hall. And yes, they are allowed to watch movies at school if they have completed their homework. Both my daughters are A Honor Roll, so this is a reward for all their hard work at school!!

• I purchased a simple tray to hold everything
• I tossed some tissue paper on the bottom
• I created a fun Movies Anywhere Tag and glued it to some holiday card stock paper. All you need to fill in is the Movies Anywhere code of the favorite Christmas Movie purchased.
• I fill a small jar with the makings for hot chocolate and added two cups with a fun hot chocolate cup tag. I also added some more small jars filled with popcorn and some chocolate covered treats.
• I added a small bottle brush tree as well, but a lovely new Christmas ornament could be gifted on the tray as well.
