Elections Curriculum : Week Two

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. (Romans 13:1)

Objective:

Study the federal government: its purpose and structure.

Learn about the American presidents and their elections and campaigns.

Become familiar with the basic structure of the American elections.

Learn about the campaign process.

Develop an understanding of what it means to be an American citizen.

Develop an understanding of American political parties.

Investigate the content of the American Constitution.
