The Chicago Lake Front

Last week I took the children downtown, we were having especially lovely weather in January, so walking about was not too terrible. Which, if you live in Chicago, can be quite vicious in January.

Here are some of the sights we took in.

My children were having so much fun breaking off chunks of ice and tossing them in the lake. My son kept telling me he could jump down on the ice and float or surf or something like that. He assured me he would never fall in the water and possible drown.

Oh, to be an innocent child again.
