Summer in Chicago

My children adore Navy Pier and we have yet had the opportunity to visit this summer. We have been so busy with all our activities we have not had much time for frolicking in the city. Last week, I took the children down to Navy Pier early in the morning to spend the day there.

We took in a play at the theater whilst there and it was so hilarious. The children adored it, they enjoyed it so much they are asking to see it again. Afterwards, we walked around inside and outside and had a great day together.

Shrek: Listen, little donkey, take a look at me! What am I?

Donkey: Ah... really tall?

Shrek: No! I'm an OGRE! You know, "grab your torch and pitchforks!" Doesn't that bother you?

Donkey: Nope.

Shrek: Really?

Donkey: Really, really.

Shrek: [taken aback] Oh.

Donkey: Man, I like you. What's your name?

Shrek: Er... Shrek.

We have to get down there again before our summer ends!
