Outdoors

So last Friday we finally had a sunny day . . . a reprieve from all the rain we were having . . . and I did a horrible thing . . . I pulled my son out of school at noon. I told his teacher he had an appointment and I pulled him out of school to spend the afternoon at the park to play and to walk along the creek banks.

I did this because . . . well, why not! We had an amazing afternoon playing and spending time together. We are constantly rushing about from one activity to the next and I just wanted a few hours of down time for the children to be just that . . . children playing . . . children laughing . . . children being silly . . . children running.

We totally accomplished that!
