Homemade Cookie Dough Batter Pretzel Bites
I decided to throw my kids a wee celebration. I have two HUGE oak trees in my back yard and this year they are dropping so many acorns. We have lived in our home for 15 years, and this year, these beautiful oak trees are giving all the squirrels a plethora of acorns to store for the winter. All I can think about is, holy-moly, are we going to have a crazy amount of snow this year or what!? Why else would our oak trees be dropping so many acorns?
Scrat would be in heaven in my back yard right now! Anyway, back to the celebration. I made some homemade peanut butter cookie and plopped some chocolate kisses on top for some tasty edible acorns for humans! I used regular chocolate kisses and cookies and cream kisses. I also made homemade cookie dough batter - - the kind that is totally edible as well -- and sandwiched them in between some pretzels and dipped them in blue and white candy chocolate.
