I like to use cleaning products that are naturally derived for everyday messes to clean my house with. Cleaning your home can be fun, right? Especially when you have great products to use! Since I am cleaning all areas of my home daily. I wanted to update a few cleaning stations in my home with products that work without hard chemicals. Having all the best cleaning products in a home cleaning station streamlines cleaning and wiping all the areas of my home.
Having all the cleaning supplies and tools needed in one location will help your house cleaning routine go faster.
Since I updated cleaning stations in my home and involved everyone in the daily cleaning routines, I wanted cleaning products that have fewer warnings on their labels. I do not want my family to clean their work and study areas begrudgingly, but to clean because it will actually clean and make their areas smell great at the same time. I want cleaning products for my family that work great without chemicals, smell good, and actually clean! The easiest way to keep your home clean is to keep to a daily cleaning routine!
I even created a daily cleaning checklist for my family to remind them to clean their work and study areas daily. You can download it below.
There really are so many cleaning products available today it can be confusing what are the best solutions for your home. Some products are full of chemicals, some are free of chemicals and some products can even be made yourself with a few simple ingredients. I use a mix of all of these that work best for my family. But here are a few of my absolute favorite cleaning products to use on a daily basis. These are the cleaning products that I put in my new Home Cleaning Stations. Having all the best cleaning products in the same location to update our cleaning routine in 2021 so they contain everything we need to clean, wipe off any surface, and sanitize areas just makes our lives run smoother.
for an easy upgrade!
The cleaning spray is a great choice for constant cleaning around kids and pets in your home or even a quick wipe down of the countertops. It even leaves my stainless-steel kitchen appliances streak-free. The multisurface cleaning spray leaves less residue than leading ecofriendly cleaners too. And did I say how great it smells?!
Since I am cleaning strategic areas in my home every day, multiple times a day, like door handles and drawer pulls, light switches, remote controls, and countertops; I involved my family in the daily cleaning process and set up the cleaning stations to help us all. The inexpensive price helped me set up these cleaning stations too - the spray is only $2.79. I did not have to spend a lot of money on cleaning products to set up my cleaning station but instead was able to purchase products that offer me the best quality performance for my money.
Everyone is at home this year, working from home, schooling from home and my home can get messy pretty quickly these days. I set up a couple of Home Cleaning Stations to stay on top of the daily wipe downs. It’s important to stick to a basic cleaning checklist every day to not be overwhelmed.
I tasked my children with cleaning their study areas daily. I have them clean their keyboards, screens, mouses and cell phones. I remind them to also clean their earbuds (don’t forget the cords) and their keys daily. My two oldest work part-time jobs and I remind them every time they walk in the door to clean all their belongings before they come any further in the house.
I keep a container of wipes in my SUV and every time I get back in my vehicle from running errands, I wipe down my keys, my wallet, and my glasses.
The wipes are also 98% naturally derived with non-toxic formula free of parabens, phthalates, glycol solvents, artificial color, or phosphates, and is a biodegradable formula. All Art of Green products can be found by using the store locator.
Both of these products smell amazing with Lavender Eucalyptus and Citrus and White Flowers. These natural smelling compounds are powerful health agents. Lavender smells floral and woody and helps with irritability, anxiety, and stress. Eucalyptus is a clean and lively fragrance and can provide a refreshing relief for exhaustion and sluggishness. These scents can inspire you to tackle all the spots in your home while helping you destress and recenter. Think of cleaning as your opportunity to refresh your mindset.
I thought it would be helpful to put together a quick, easy cleaning house checklist that I use each day in my own home.
It’s not always easy to keep your home clean when everyone is home these days but if you create a cleaning routine that details cleaning task, your will have a lovely clean home. I like to stay on top of the daily messes by implementing small, daily cleaning tasks for everyone to keep our home tidy, clean, and sanitized. When everyone pitches in, it takes about 30 minutes or less from start to finish. The best way to get everyone excited about cleaning is to put on some music like The Ultimate Cleaning Playlist on Spotify.
I task everyone with a small routine every night before they go to bed. I love to wake up to a clean home! But you can easily incorporate these at any time of the day. Complete the daily cleaning checklist as your own schedule permits.
KITCHEN:
Rinse dishes & place them in the dishwasher after each meal
Wipe down the table after each meal
Disinfect high touch areas and wipe down kitchen countertops, door handles, drawer & cupboard pulls, faucet handles
BATHROOMS:
(we have 4 bathrooms, and everyone is responsible for their own areas in their bathrooms; I clean the universal bathroom each night)
Wipe down bathroom sinks and countertops
Scrub the toilet with a brush
Hang towels back up or place in laundry
Put things away after use (toothpaste, brush, makeup)
Pick up dirty clothes and place them in the laundry
LIVING ROOM:
DECLUTTER: Put things back when done using them (pillows, blankets, backpacks, laptops, clothing, etc)
VACUUM:
Start the remote-control vacuum cleaner each night. (If you don’t have a remote control vacuum, task one person with one room to vacuum each day)
