Gingerbread Christmas Candy Village
Each December we have a wonderful holiday tradition of creating a Gingerbread Christmas Village filled with loads of candy and a GingerBread House. We had a glorious time creating a gingerbread village and no one cried!
I love traditions! Each December my children patiently wait for momma (that would be me) to get up the energy needed to build a gingerbread house with them. Ultimately, someone always ends up in tears (and surprisingly it is not me!) I discovered these tiny, little gingerbread houses that would solve my problem with the building of the hosue and who gets to put this little gumdrop in the most perfect of spots. I purchased five itty bitty gingerbread houses long with santa, a sleigh and some reindeer. Each one of my children had plenty to keep them busy and no one would bother the other's home.

“Christmas – that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance – a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved.” Augusta E. Rundel
