If you asked me....

If you asked me, I would tell you that we have been so crazy busy, I don't think I have time to breath of late. Isn't summer supposed to be easy and laid back?

If you asked me, I would tell you that I go back and forth about this little wee space I have on the internet. This blog.

I vacillate from adoring the blogging community, the platform it gives me to create beautiful photos, the ability it gives me to write and share my thoughts, the way it lets me document our life and talk about homeschooling my children to not enjoying blogging at all.

{And then some days it makes me feel uneasy. If I am being honest}

If you asked me, I would tell you that I've never been more in love with my children. I am so proud of my little ones in their decisions and their faith. I am really happy and content in my life and my marriage right now.

If you asked, I would tell you that it's been extremely hot here . . . and my air conditioner keeps freezing up. 100 degrees and no air in your home is not fun. Actually, it reminds me of my childhood . . . we had no air in our house.

My dishwasher is not working either . . . what else is going to go on the blinker . . . it happens in threes right?

If you asked me, I would tell you that I love to eat Indian food . . . I literally could eat cumin and curry every single day and I try to incorporate it into all my food.

I love nothing better than great, old, classic movies, snuggling with my kiddos and cookies right out of the oven.

I would tell you that I finally started to scrapbook again . . . after a full year of homeschooling three little ones, I haven't been able to. I can say to you that I really miss touching and cutting paper. Creating.

Also, I can tell you that I was taking photos of my son's spinning fireworks last night and I totally wiped out in our driveway because I thought this spinning ball of fire was going to land ON my head. I can say that I landed right on my hip because I was trying to save my NEW camera. I didn't even care if I broke my elbow!

If you asked me I would tell you that having my gall bladder removed did not help me with the issue of constantly coughing. I'm still coughing after every single morsel of food that passes my lips.

If you asked me I would tell you that I still really want to have another baby.

I would tell you that my brother expecting a baby is the most exciting news for him, but it makes me incredibly sad for myself.
If you asked, I would tell you that I love to listen in the doorway when my girls are playing. I adore their imaginations and the fact they are best buds.
. . . melting.
I would tell you that July is a fun month for me-we are going back to Iowa again to visit my aunts and I'm super excited!
But mostly, I would tell you that I'm grateful . . . grateful for my life.
