NINE DAYS! I always have somewhere to be getting to this month, like school, or church or a holiday party, and less fun things like work and groceries and I still need to get my holiday cards out! Nine more days to shop for the lists my children have provided me. Oh, and nine more days to send out my holiday cards.

One thing I haven't been putting off is the Elf on the Shelf antics in our home. He has been very good this year and surprising my kiddos with all sorts of goodies and giggles. My youngest daughter is really loving the adventures the Elf brings this month. She is still a firm believer and I want to hold on to that magic for as long as I can.

Elf on the Shelf Breakfast

She wrote a note to the Elf the other day asking him to write her back and to tell Santa to write her more letters. Of course, I had the brilliant idea to have the Elf bring cards from Santa and give them to all my kids! I also set up an Elf on the Shelf Breakfast so the Elf could present the cards from Santa.

If you haven't ever had an Elf on the Shelf in your home, you are missing out on some magical moments with your children. Hallmark is a company that really gets what I am trying to create in my home this holiday. It is all about the special moments and creating wonderful memories for my kids. I was able to head to my local Walmart and select some amazing Hallmark greeting cards for my children from Santa for my Elf on the Shelf Breakfast.

Hallmark has this amazing holiday display for all shoppers at Walmart. You can select your beautiful Hallmark greeting card for family and friends for this holiday. Elf on the Shelf Breakfast

Cards From Santa

This is super easy to set up. I simply wrapped up my dining room table in holiday paper and brought in some holiday cheer. I added a big festive bow to the backs of chairs for a bit of whimsy.

ELF ON THE SHELF DECORATIONS

A small holiday tree decorated with miniature decorations and some wooden Santas in front was placed at the end of the table. The Elf nestled in the tiny tree perfectly! I also hung some leftover red boxes that I added some festive ribbon to as well. I used the sleigh our Elf arrives in at the end of the table too.

ELF ON THE SHELF FOOD

I then brought out all the sweets my kids could possible dream of having for breakfast. Powdered donuts, sprinkled donuts, cupcakes with festive holiday frosting, chocolate sprinkled discs, fresh strawberries and even some yogurt shooters. Aren't they so cute? They also had chocolate milk to drink.

For the yogurt shooter, I took some plastic red shooter cups that I found at Walmart, wrapped sticky ribbon around them and filled them with strawberry yogurt. Be sure to use some candy canes in the middle of your donuts, they hold the donuts upright well.

ELF ON THE SHELF PLACE SETTING

I set a place for each child using a holiday plate and cup. The cards from Santa were sitting on their plates and had their initials so they would know where to sit. The Elf brought bell bracelets for my daughters and more chocolate and cookies for everyone.

SPECIAL ORNAMENT

The Elf also brought a special Hallmark Ornaments from Santa they can hang when we decorate our tree. (We don't decorate until the week of Christmas). But isn't this angel lovely. We have angel ornaments from different countries we visit and this will be a great addition. Santa and the Elf chose well!

ELF ON THE SHELF LETTERS AND CARDS

In addition, the Elf wrote my kiddos a little letter asking for them to send Santa some cards he could take back to the North Pole. My daughters were so excited to decorate Santa's cards with holiday stamps and stickers and write him a special holiday note.

My children LOVED the Elf Breakfast and the cards from Santa. I can't wait to see what other joy the Elf brings this month!

Tell me which ornament you're most looking forward to this season. I'd love to hear about your favorite family traditions!
