Brentwood Home Sleep Wellness Bundle

Disclosure: I received the Brentwood Home Sleep Wellness Bundle to facilitate this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Sleeplessness has a long history in my life. I have been a bad sleeper since I was a teenager and it has carried well into my adult life. I never get enough sleep and am always on a quest for more of it. Personally, I think a good night's sleep has everything to do with your pillow! Pillows can totally assist or hinder a good night's sleep.

For an allergy sufferer such as myself, using an incorrect pillow can cause many sleepless nights. About five years ago, I had this terrible eye infection. I was seeing specialists all over the area because no one could figure out what was causing the issue. I actually ended up having surgery, but the situation did not change. I began seeing various allergists, a pulmonologist and other specialists for help, because in addition to my skin and eye allergies, I had developed nasal, coughing and breathing issues.

After all was said and done, I discovered I had a feather allergy, a wood allergy, severe dust and dust mite allergy; I also found out I was asthmatic, had severe eczema, as well as chronic dry eyes, chronic rhinitis and gastroesophageal reflux disease. I was a hot mess!

We had to get rid of all the mattresses in our home and all the pillows. The drapes had to be specially cleaned and new carpet was installed. It was recommended that we get rid of the carpet completely in our home, but we didn't want hardwood floors upstairs.

The mattresses were easy to replace, but the pillows were difficult. Finding just the right pillow is difficult. I have systematically worked my way through more pillows than I care to name on my quest to locate 'the perfect one'! I have tried pillows made out of hypoallergenic down, Primaloft, wool, polyester, latex and cotton. I have tried firm, medium and soft.

Did you know that a latex pillows does a great job in deterring dust mites and are also anti-microbial and mildew resistant? They are! I found this out whilst shopping for new pillows. For the past five years I have been sleeping on various pillows, switching them up at night depending upon how tired I am, how cold I am, etc, etc, etc.

Brentwood Home Sleep Wellness Bundle

A couple of weeks ago, I received a Sleep Wellness Bundle with new pillows from Brentwood Home. Brentwood Homes uses using a combination of organic, nontoxic and natural materials in their healthy home products. These pillows are handcrafted here in the USA and are a great quality using eco-friendly materials.

The best part is they use their expertise in utilizing healthy, natural materials for comfortable pillows. They use natural latex and organic cotton, they ensure that allergy sufferers like myself can finally get a good night's sleep. To me, it is so important that the products I use are as natural as possible. Brentwood Home doesn’t use any chemical fire retardants, phthalates, and heavy metals when manufacturing and processing their products. That is right, they manufacture everything they sell.

The Latex/Kapok Pillow hits a home run for me. It has the 'sinking pillow sumptuous luxury feel' and is perfect for me since I am flipping from one side to the other all night long.
