This past Friday we visited Great Wolf Lodge in the suburbs of Chicago in Gurnee with our friends. We had the most beautiful day as the sun was shining and it was not too terribly steaming hot and it could not have been a more perfect day. With the NEW full day passes, we were all able to enjoy unlimited splashes at the 84-degree indoor water park! In addition, we all had access to over 50 activities that day. The best part is I didn’t have to pack suitcases for everyone and we were all back in own beds by bedtime.

Great Wolf Lodge is located just 45 minutes from Chicago. This location is close enough for anyone visiting our amazing city to take a day trip out to the suburbs and enjoy a day of summer fun! Pool chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis throughout the water park. There are also lockers available in the water park for guest use.

When we visit Great Wolf Lodge with the children, we usually rent a cabana for the day. It just makes everything so much easier. We did not rent a cabana on our Play for a Day visit, but cabanas are available for rent for day visits and I highly recommend a cabana if you have younger children. Cabana rentals Include Beverages, Towels, Seating and other smart amenities. Cabanas are available on the day of purchase until the water park closes. Based upon availability. Prices may vary.

4) BABIES AND CHILDREN'S AREA

Guests are permitted to bring their own coast guard-approved life jackets. Coast Guard approved life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend that children under 48 inches and weak or non-swimmers wear a life jacket. Please note that inflatable toys are not allowed in the water park.

Guests can choose to howl for a single day with a brand-new waterpark day pass starting at $50 per person, available at U.S resorts this summer. Until now, access to Great Wolf Lodge’s waterpark was available only to overnight guests. The new offering means families looking for a quick day trip have the option of spending the day at the resort’s centerpiece attraction.

Great Wolf Lodge Day Pass includes:

• All-day fun at our 84-degree indoor water park

• Free life jackets for all the family

• Free passes for kids under 2.
