This week we have celebrated St Patrick's Day, visited a local museum, had dinner with a cousin and woke up to snow to the ground two separate mornings! Yesterday was actually a very nice day and all of 40 degrees. It was glorious as we have still had bitter cold days here in the Windy city.

This is in addition to all our normal activities. I think my life has turned into driving my children from one activity to the other and ensuring everyone is on time {a hard feat for me as I am truly late for everything}. I'm really ready for some spring weather as this has been a long winter. I'm sick of being cold all the time and I need some fresh air that doesn't freeze my lungs.

I keep seeing images of buds and flowers popping up all over Instagram and there is still so much ice and snow on the ground around my house. Here's proof.
